Holiday Fellowship - HF holidays

Has anyone ever travelled with this company?

I'm looking to do a solo holiday with a purpose and I love walking/hiking and have been recommended this company. However, I don't know anybody who has actually been. Those who have recommended it have all 'heard' it was good.

Having looked at their site briefly, it looks pricey but also looks professional/legit.

I have been on quite a few of their holidays (almost entirely UK ones with 1 exception). I do recommend them. They tend to attract older people (very few under 50's and mostly over 60) although there are probably younger people on the most strenuous trips. I am usually one of the youngest when I go (56) . . Each day they have walks at 3 different levels of ability so you can do a harder one and then an easier next day.
The food is very good at all those which I have visited. I am considering trying another of their overseas ones quite soon. Please ask if you have any further questions.

Thank you for this, its reassuring to hear from someone who has been.
I am a bit concerned about the average age though as I'm in my 30s and will be travelling solo if I go with this company (I don't think I can do strenuous ones). I have no probs with older folks as I assume those who go are fit and 'all there' to do the walks.

Is sightseeing involved too? If I go abroad it is what I would want to do as well.

Their website gives comprehensive itineraries of each tour/holiday. They describe plenty of sights (and sites) that are visited, also details of free time in various towns and cities. It depends on your definition of sightseeing I guess....
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....
