When complete, return your DQ to the CCBC in the same manner and to the same email address that you sent your Defence.
Refresh your memory by re-reading post #4 above.
Remember to send a copy to the Claimant - address on your Claim Form.0 -
Another update. I have received a "Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing)", stating the following:
"The Deputy District Judge has considered the statements of case and directions questionnaire filed and allocated the claim to the small claims track. The case is allocated to the small claims track and the parties are referred to Part 27 of the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 and the Practice Direction to the Part for guidance as to how the hearing will be conducted."
The notice then goes on to say that the case is listed for final hearing and the claimant must pay the hearing fee by the specified date. If the hearing fee is not paid, the claim will be removed from the hearing list and the claim struck out without further order.
I assume I now just wait to see if Civil Enforcement Limited want to pay the hearing fee to go through with the hearing? Is there anything else I should do apart from sit tight and wait?0 -

I am delighted to say I have received a letter from Civil Enforcement Limited saying they are discontinuing proceedings and have cancelled the charge. They have also notified the court.
A massive thanks to everyone who has helped me through this. I owe you all a pint!2
