Lloyds credit card app

Options
I applied for Platinum BT card, after credit scoring I got a box side by side:

"What you applied for...." then "What we can offer you". Which was the classic card with a £2k estimated limit (you can't apply directly for Classic or I would have done, it's only if you're not eligible for the 'prime' range and are offered it).

Continued with the app, setup DD and put the details of the CC I want to transfer the balance way from (said I could transfer away up to £1900, 95%).

All looked so good, CCA downloaded etc (online it was 'signed' by Head of Cards or something along those lines).

Then I got the following
Dear X

We're processing your application

Your application reference number is: 24xxxxxx

Thank you for applying for one of our credit cards.

We just wanted to confirm that we’ll now start processing your application and we’ll contact you within 4 working days with a decision. There’s nothing more for you to do as we’ll take care of everything.

Please don’t apply for another card while you wait to hear from us as we won’t be able to process your application.

That suggests it's referred rather than straight accept??

If I've seen a CCA online & downloaded one, is that binding on them?

If it is approved, does it automatically appear in Online Banking etc?

Comments

  • You’re not accepted until they confirm it. You just need to wait now.
  • Even with a signed CCA by both parties?

Damn, that'll be a decline then!
  • Yup

I had the same once with a Barclaycard - application submitted and CCA signed but then the result was to expect a letter in five working days.

Within 3 days I had an acceptance letter with a substantial limit

I have recently applied for their card and normally they approve straight away and in my case the account appeared on my online account the same day. Good luck!
