Hi good afternoon all.
Myself and my partner are seeking advice on our Shared Ownership Mortgage.
We have our 5 percent deposit and money to cover the legal/moving fees.
I have a 3/5 Credit score on Noddle (I have a credit card and a debit card with no debt/overdraft/no late payments/non payments)
My partner has a 1/5 rating on Noddle....he had a few late payments a couple of years ago with Barclaycard other than that he has no debts/non payments etc.
Please note our credit scores has fallen because we have had several searches, this month including by multiple lenders for Mortgages.
He works 38 hours per week and i work 32.
We are now with a mortgage broker who said we would be able to get a mortgage with Leeds building society...but i am slightly concerned about the credit score of my partner and would it potentially cause us to be declined?
We have a couple of AIP from other lenders but they're insisting on a 10 percent deposit which for us just isn't doable at this time.
Please any advice would be hugely appreciated.
