Balance transfer card

Hi first time I have posted but I was looking for some advice, I currently have a Halifax credit card with about 3k on it, I managed to get a capitalone card for a balance transfer but the limit was less than half of the amount on my Halifax one, can I apply for another balance transfer card? I just need one with a short 0% time frame, just enough to get my finances under control.

Any help would be appreciated!

    yes, apply away.
  • If you do get enough credit to transfer all of your debt to 0% then make sure you understand the minimum payment calculations of the 0% providers first. Some people have had quite a shock moving from cards requiring only 1% of the balance as a minimum payment to a 0% BT card that asks for 2.5% of the balance each month.

0% is always better in the long run but for monthly affordability it doesn't always work.
