Hi,
My annual review is due, for the last 6 months or so I have been living with a friend as my tenancy finished in my previous property. I am looking to rent another property in the near future as I cannot stay in my current location for much longer.
My worry is that my IP will see I have this temporary disposable income and will increase my paynents to the point where renting a property will become impossible.
Any advice or guidance appreciated.
Thanks

Have you been saving the money you would of normally paid on rent, council tax, water, waste, electric/gas and tv licence?0

Wouldn’t say I’ve been saving. I have enough currently to pay for deposit n first month rent up front0

you can list your contributions you make to your friend for staying there, supported by a letter form them as a living expense. your payments will then no doubt increase until you back in to your own place. when this happens, you need to tell them immediately of the changes, do a new I&E, and your payments will then decrease accordingly to the normal amount
as for the last 6 months, why didnt you let your IP know about the changes in circumstances?0
