LINDSELL TRAIN GLOBAL EQUITY D INC thru Interactive Investor SIPP

Hi,

I have just tried to purchase this fund in my interactive investor SIPP but the trade wasn't accepted. Phone them up and was told II cannot make any new subscriptions to this fund. Bit surprised given how popular it is, would anyone know if this is a temporary thing or similar on other platforms?

Thanks

Maybe the lower cost D class is only available to some platforms e.g. HL. Is there another class on II?

class D is superclean class and not available on all platforms.
Class B is the clean class and widely available.
class A should be obsolete now apart from legacy holdings

Yes, that's exactly the situation. I held D Class on HL. When I moved to ii I had to sell it and buy the non-discounted class which, despite what dunston says, seems to be called Lindsell Train UK Equity Acc and doesn't have a class letter (B or otherwise).

The UK equity version doesnt have a class A. The global equity one does.

Yes, sorry. I was thinking of the UK fund.
  • Tip: trustnet.com "all units" tab is great for comparing share classes.
