I was collecting a minor so I don't think I was abusing the parking.

Is there a logical fallacy in there somewhere?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Possibly.

I still would have liked to have had my court appearance to make this point all the same.

A minor who was a paying customer but who required collection. Having never driven to the cinema since the hidden keypad was introduced and then waiting in my car for my son, none of the signs were visibly on display with this set of circumstances in mind.

    So an appeal about signage.

Anyway, irrespective of the otherwise positive outcome for me, I hope these parasites are put out of business soon. Similarly I hope that any business (The Odeon cinema in this case) which take this inadequate approach to car parking enforcement also suffer a loss of custom.

Also, now that I know about the keypad I can now enter the foyer solely for the purpose of using it to get free parking without having to pay to see a film. I see this as my duty to recoup the cost of my time.

I love your thinking, and the cinema is stupid to let this happen at all.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Check with the court to see if pe have applied for the case to continue
  • Nothing in recent transactions since I filed my defence.

I will call the court tomorrow.
  • I called the court and they told me that ParkingEye had not requested for the case to be reopened (yet).

They advised that I log on or call every couple of weeks to check the claim.
