PPI - SearsCard - Now creation Financial Services

Hi All, I need some assistance. I have raised a PPI complaint against Creation who took over the SearsCard business. I was unable to provide any account reference information due to this not genuinely being available due to my ex wife ditching all the relevant information. I have provided them with my previous address at the time I had a store card with them. I specifically recall that as part of the underwriting process on the application form the PPI section was already pre agreed and if you declined you were not accepted, you had to take it and had no option to decline if you wanted a store card. I have contacted creation on numerous occassion's but they have advised they have no records that extend past 6 years for previous clients so will not investigate further. Despite trying to explain over and over again that I am not able to provide the account information and by providing my previous and current address along with my date of birth they still keep asking. Can I do anything else? I have read somewhere that others were having the same issue and that Creation were not paying any PPi claims ?

If you don't have any details and neither do they, then there's nothing more you can do.

the FCA recommend keeping info for 6 years. Some firms keep it longer. Most firms will delete info from someone who has closed their accounts.
It doesn't matter what you recall, there is nothing left to prove anything one way or the other.
    Your complaint is over.

You keep telling them you have no account information.

They keep telling you they don't have any either!

Providing your name, address and date of birth on multiple occasions will not somehow magic up records which no longer exist.

    The end.
