Agressive House Mate in HMO.

JACKAL AND HYDE. He is ok most of the time, you can turn to him sometimes for help and advice. He is fairly intelligent.

BUT THEN HIS STORY. He got into a clash with someone on the street. He was shouting about his experience to other house mates. They wasn’t impressed, saying,’what’s with the new guy’ to me when I came into the kitchen. I will not elaborate what he said he would do to the other guy. It was not pleasant.

THEN HE GOES BULLISTIC, when he is watching football on his TV, easy to hear him from outside. The last football match. These footballers work hard for a living, but then again it’s only a game. The players make money from passionate fans not people like me.

THE NEXT MATCH WAS BREXIT. That was the worst football match. Including Juremy Corbyne I feel strongly about Brexit being a freedom Loving Libertain Myself. He is an Alex Joneser, I am a Milton Freedman, or Ron Paul.

OCCASIONALLY, he goes into the kitchen and cusses about the mess. But lately the is limited the cooker stove. Olive oil has a way in splashing on the stove. “I will !!!!ing hit them, !!!!s, coffee stains !!!!….. !!!!… “

GORDON RAMSAY ON KETAMINE. This time I decided to walk his ballistic rant or forever hold my peace. “ can’t you clean up after your mess. Can’t you, !!!!ing.. this and !!!!ing.. that. You ‘re !!!!ing lazy. I said to stay calm, I will clean it up”. He says,’ so you think you’re !!!!ing special”. I will !!!!ing complain about to the landlord you to get you kicked !!!!ing out. Cussing and cursing and banging’ ‘everyone else is clears up why don’t you’. Don’t think he would stop after five minutes. This isn’t aggression but a mania. Such a mania, you can't help but respond.

THEN THE NEXT DAY, I talk to him about his. He is a little colder than expected. He said what I should do, but I know at some point I will forget. So it does not matter. It, in theory, would take about 5 seconds full speed to clean it. I will eventually forget, then it will be something else.

COULD NOT SLEEP, even with meditation. So I got up and worked until 2am.

Its easy to see why I have a miss like of my own race. It’s just better to stay the !!!! away.

Today I made the same thing on the stove. I made it worse by cooking beans because I thought it would not show up.

Gawd, I feel like someone's come on here for a rant about their husband or something! Not dissimilar to many couples' arguments at home lol.


I think you should consider moving to somewhere with less people. Really, it's not nearly enough to lose sleep over (sorry!). This seems very minor to me. You can't get along with everyone, just try to keep out of their way and keep it clean.

The caps. I think it looks nice. A famous copywriter uses them occasionally. I understand football supporters and issues with Brexit.
Should have seen this as a red flag. This was way over the top.

So you have a housemate who you have different political opinions to, not a big deal.

You have a housemate who likes football, I don't see the point in the game myself but millions do, when OH is watching a match and gets a bit excited I just roll my eyes and get on with my day, it's no big deal.

You have a housemate who was still angry after an altercation in the street....that's pretty normal, I've had days where I've had a nightmare customer in work and gone home and ranted about it. It's just letting off steam when you've felt angry or frustrated. If he didn't actual hit any of you or threaten any of you directly I don't get what the big deal is.

On your other points, there are several occasions of you personally being messy and not cleaning up after yourself. That must be incredibly frustrating for him and your other housemates if they do clean up after themselves, if they can do it why can't you? Nobody likes to walk in to a messy kitchen or wants to clean up somebody else's mess before being able to use the facilities themselves.

It sounds like maybe you are the one with issues and living in a house with shared facilities is not for you.

As time goes by I have been very tentative in this household. I have even bought a few stuff for the house. An alarm bell, security lights and kept the garden, a plant for the bathroom.

Have looked on my phone. It's not the link that didn't work, it's the fact my work computer blocks all photo placement type sites.


It's hard to see really. If there's grease spots (which there appears to be), it's best to clean straight away. Really hard to say who's right or wrong, it's prob a case of neither, you just have to learn how to live with each other.
