Also fifty grand more [thereabouts] than the one that sold in August....Someone is optimistic.
And renewed carpets and redecoration? Really?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Could just be someone who needs a very quick sale. I'm currently a proceedable cash buyer as we sold up, relocated and are in rented. However, if a house says cash buyers only I'm on the lookout for anything that would make it unmortgageable that might have caused previous sales to fall through - e.g. serious subsidence, Japanese knotweed...0
-
my initial thoughts were that they really needed to sell quickly but the price is a bit optimistic - good point re really big problems with the house.0

It's usually code for "not mortgageable" i.e. the market has already been limited for some reason, so it's just to avoid everyone wasting their time. Though that usually comes attached to a bargain price.0

It doesn't make any sense, cash offers only normally is where mortgage lenders won't lend on it so it wastes time trying.
I'd want to check everything with a fine tooth comb with that on the particulars0 -
It might be someone with a bridging loan who keeps getting chains collapse.0

Perhaps they mean 'no property to sell'? When we bought our new-build in the mid 1990s the sales rep asked if we'd sold our property yet, as we would need to be able to exchange by X date. When we said we were in Armed Forces married quarters, she said ' lovely - cash buyers !'
I'd love to know what is behind that curtain in picture 13, though !0 -
