You don't give us much to go on, perhaps make a start with the Top Savings Accounts link at the top of the page

    You can't 'invest' without risk.
You can however save without risk.
Have a look at the savings info on this site at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest/ - and read all the way down the page, as some of the better rates are later in the article.

    You can't invest without risk.

In terms of inflation, it is not easy to save without risk.

If you have never before had a Nationwide Flexdirect current account (and are eligible) you might open one.

You might also open a TSB Classic Plus current account and set to paperless.

You would then deposit £2500 in NW and £1500 in TSB and set up a same day mid month Standing Order for £1000 from NW to TSB and one from TSB to NW.

You would pick up the monthly interest on the two accounts and deposit it (together with enough to make up to £250) in the NWFlex monthly Regular saver.

After a year, the promotional 5% interest rate on the NW account ends so you would probably wish to move the cash elsewhere, just keeping it for the regular saver.

You would then need to make sure that £500 a month went into TSB from another account.
