inflatable mattress

Im having a baby very soon and have had to get rid of the double bed in the spare room to make way for the nursery. Would like to buy an inflatable double mattress that is comfortable, folds away small but as cheap as possible (obviously) for parents etc to stay. My mum gets lots of aches and pains so a normal lilo type thing wont be supportive enough. Has anyone got any suggestions for a good brand etc??

You can get the double height inflatable mattresses from Argos. I have the single which has the integrated pump and it's in use everyweekend and is extremely comfy. Paid about 40 for the single and it folds up into its own rucksack type bag so really good for storing too.0

I recently bought one of these
Now they are a bit pricey but my husband used it afetr spine surgery and it was great, it can lift at one end, so kind of reclining ot is an air mattress on a metal frame comes with pump etc and folds into a holdall

What about a double futon? It could double up as a chair to sit on whilst feeding baby!
They're relatively comfortable to sleep on for a few nights. We have one in our guest room and no complaints so far about guests being too uncomfortable!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I bought a couple of single inflatable mattresses from Tescos for around £7 each. I think the double was £14.0

Go for two singles then both get a good sleep. On a double if one person turns over the whole matress moves and wakes the other person up - this is from many years experience when camping!
We also have a futon, it is very comfortable and it doubles as a sofa in our daughter's room. Not cheap though.0 -

thanksWhen you know better you do better0 -
I would strongly recommend the Aerobed /
I paid £79.99 for a double - however I sleep on it every single night (I have a very very small room, that I also work from home in with a foldable tressle table). I inflate every night, and deflate every morning to work.
I can honestly say, I sleep extremely well on it, it's lovely and comfortable, and very easy to inflate/deflate. Plus it's bed hieght, which is nice.

It is available in single or double and I got mine from kays catalogue- prob cheaper on littlewoods direct(same company) just paid by card rather than account as it is an excellent bed and incredibly sturdy. spose if you have an account though might be better to spread the cost.hm71 is that bed a double??... could you tell me where u bought it from cos it looks exactly what i am looking for
