G24 ticket

Hello al


Please help, when I try to send an appeal to G24 on their website it says it is unable to find the Contractual Parking Number. This means I am unable to send my appeal and I am running out of time.


I sent a complaint to the Store manager as I had parked at the store to do some shopping. I am still waiting to hear from him . I sent bank transaction to him.


Please what do I do in this case, I don't want to appeal by post if I can help it. I can find a phone number to call G24 to report the website issue

IGNORE, even if you could and did appeal it would be turned down


a landowner cancellation is always your best bet , which may well have happened here

Complain to your MP. On 18th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these private parking companies. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.

Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

The Newbies thread says one should appeal and not miss the appeal deadline date. Is it safe and wise to do nothing and to just wait for their threatening letters.

it is your choice

if in any doubt , send an appeal as KEEPER using the blue text template by post , with free certificate of posting from the P O Counter, if it puts your mind at rest

they will turn it down regardless , be it in time or out of time, so its a paper exercise only, there is no profit in accepting appeals so its almost automatic


once your appeal is posted, then follow the IGNORE anything except an LoC and/or MCOL, especially ignoring debt collector letters

I got a letter from G24 saying the ticket had been cancelled. Such a relief.


The manager of the BM Stores in Leytonstone responded to my initial complaint and made good his promise.
