If you're going skiing for the first time and don't want to stump up for expensive gear, you can pick up some bargains from Tchibo, TK Maxx and Lidl.
- Lidl. From 22 November Lidl have jackets from £30 and trousers from £20. Plus other deals on accessories. Find your local Lidl.
- TK Maxx. TK Maxx is always a good place to pick up branded goods for cut prices. If you have a good rummage you can usually pck up top names for rock bottom prices. Find your local TK Maxx. Post your good finds below.
- Tchibo. Tchibo also have good value stuff on both Mens Skiiwear and Ladies Skiiwear starting from about £25. Find your local Tchibo.

I've always found TK Maxx to be very good for ski stuff. Its the usual jumble sale, but there are definitely some gems in there if you look hard enough.0

I noticed the other day, they had some skiwear in Peacocks!!! Aldi ski stuff is good and comes out in a few weeks time normally.0

T K Maxx have their skiwear in now and there are some big brand bargains from Columbia, Dare 2 Be, Berghaus and more. Always have to take a chance there is something in your size/colour as stock is always limited so might not be very moneysaving if you have to travel a distance.
I went to the Northampton and Milton Keynes stores this week and got a Vaude waterproof walking jacket for £40 instead of £75 and Sprayway and Craghoppers fleeces at about 40% off.0 -
I bought the lidl stuff for me 2 years ago and it's great. I'm not interested in brands and the lidl gear is well made and warm, waterproof, windproof etc etc. My DH wants me to get some of the snowboard pants for him this Thurs as they're the only ones he's seen with a knee pad thingy in them, so I'll prob be late for work again by going to lidl on the way!Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0
