Highview Parking

I recently received a PCN from Highview Parking. Basically I parked in a retail park with signage saying the maximum permitted duration was 3 hours and I overstayed by 46 mins. I'm not posting here to ask for advice on appealing the PCN as, in my experience, this is a total waste of time on the basis Highview are a money making organisation and will simply respond saying I'm still obliged to still pay. Likewise, if I escalate to POPLA, they are almost certain to award in favour of Highview. On this basis, my intention is to simply ignore the PCN, plus any follow up correspondence from Highview and debt collection agencies acting on their behalf. Ultimately I want to see this to the point they simply give up and leave me alone.
My question here is, does anyone know how likely Highview are to take this case all the way to court by me having this stance? Does anyone have any Intel on how Highview operate?
Thank you.

stupid idea , sorry
you should copy and paste the blue text appeal into their appeal box as KEEPER (not as driver , be careful)
they will cancel it when they see that blue text template
any other idea is very stupid, sorry to say
plus they may take it to court as a lot of the others are doing since BEAVIS lost, you dont want that monkey on your back for 6 years, do you ?
follow the NEWBIES thread , post #2, appealing as KEEPER0 -
Another one for the thumbs down to that strategy.
Start with a complaint to the landowner. Highview will also often fold when they receive the blue template in the NEWBIES post 1. Why don't you just search this board for the Highview threads - easy pickings.
If you do lose to Highview, use POPLA. It costs them. Make it hurt for them. And then, if you lose at POPLA, so what?! Time for the court. And all you need to do is search this board for "another one bites the dust" to see the well defended claims, which have been successfully defended.
Honestly, ignoring it would be silly.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Dear Redx and ShakeItOff
Thank you for your suggestion. I took your advice and received the following reply from Highview:
Thank you for your correspondence relating to your Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
Further to your representations, we have investigated your claims and can confirm that your Notice has subsequently been cancelled in full and no further action will be taken.
I'll be honest and admit I didn't think it would work. Thanks guys, I owe you both a pint!!!0 -
well done , glad you saw sense and followed our sage advice, told you it would be easier than a possible court case after 6 years of looking over your shoulder
the monkey is now off your back !!0
