Mis advertising - legal? Ethical?

Some advice please! Bought a light shade online, company has catalogue, stores etc. In catalogue and online lightshade called ‘aurora’ general description. Arrives in post, whopping £5.95 postage, turns out to be a famous brand lightshade under a completely different name. Can be bought much cheaper elsewhere! Contacted company who said they are within their rights to call it what ever they want. They will refund purchase but not original postage or the postage back to them. Surely this is a very dodgy business practice passing off something unique that is not actually their product? Any advice on what the law says on this gratefully received. Just seems wrong. Thank you

This sort of thing is more common than you think, loads of things get rebranded and have a premium depending on where you buy from. Everyone does it, your local supermarket will sell identical products at various price points, with different packaging etc. Aldi rebrand loads of products that sell elsewhere for a lot more. I assume they all need permission or have some sort of licensing deal.

That said if you are returning under CRA they cannot charge you for the original postage, only the return.
