Another email hacked, spying on you, bitcoin request.

Daughters received a few "Amazon suspicious activity on your account" emails, but she has only ever used amazon to read free kindle books, but thats another emai, and no payment details on her account.

Also the emails are from wierd domains so clearly not Amazon

Checking her computer and other emails there was one of the "
I am spying on you and your a naughty user"

It lists most of her real password though, checking have i been pwned nothing comes up for her email.

Duly chastised for using same/similar passwords for various accounts. So far we cant think of which accounts they could have got that information from.

Anything better than the have i been pwned site?

Keylogger software , malware etc had gleaned full or partial password

Scans already done and nothing found, turns out the password they mentioned was about 5 years old, used whilst at college and on job search sites.

Needle in a haystack trying to track it further.
