Advance on universal credit
Could anyone tell me if an advance on universal credit is counted as obtaining credit with regards a DRO.
I just applied for 501.75 and approved, odd figure I know but it was rent and a cushion until first pay, until first uc payment next month.
My DRO is ending third week of April so have i just scuppered things up asking for an advance?

For anyone interested, I spoke to stepchange and they confirmed that an advance is not considered a credit application, it's money to live on which you will be entitled to in due course0

That's correct.
However, it is a qualifying debt if you have it at the start of the DRO0
