Keeper Liability In Scotland

I have just seen an article in the local rag, suggesting that they are looking at Keeper Liability In Scotland.

I used to be quite an active user of this board, but due to life changes, not so much over the last couple of years. I am going to email my MSP telling them why this is bad idea, for example PPC's clogging up the court system etc, but to save me trawling through every thread for examples, can any of the regulars give me the worst examples of keeper liability and it shouldn't happen and why it hasn't really helped in England?
Also, would then have to extend POPLA and IPC's version to Scotland or do they already cover Scotland.
Thanks.

by the time any changes are made POPLa and the IPC will be long gone , there is a new parking bill going thru parliment , although I have no interest in scotland I think it will apply there as well
read up on new parking bill before firing questions off0 -
You could suggest he looks at ppc case numbers before and after POFA. Before POFA there was a handful of parking cases a year. Now there's dozens every day. Tens of thousands a year.0

yup , but at least its done thru courts now , with some sensable judges , before this the likes of watkins at private parking logistics made millions by holding people at ransom with clamps0

Gotta agree.....court cases massively up, clamping banished....definite improvement.
Long as they don't screw up the new COP/scheme then we might actually see another improvement!!!0
