MP4 to DVD converter

Friend has daughter's wedding video on USB and asked me to burn it to DVD for her.
Simple, I thought, but the videos are in MP4 format - I have Freemake on my PC which I have used in the past, but they are now asking for a payment or watermarking/branding the image making it unreadable.
Any suggestions for a decent free converter?

Handbrake may help you. It's a free, open source video converter for Windows, Linux and OSX that will convert files to/between the major formats.

Sadly it won't - well, I've tried Freemake and Wondershare both which want to put a huge watermark across the screen.donnajunkie wrote: »Any video converter may serve your purpose.

Have you ever used it to create DVD Video? I think not.0 -
If you're running Windows 7, try Windows DVD Maker. But Microsoft removed it since Windows 8.0

+1 for DVD Flick.
Used this exclusively for conversion of multiple formats and burning to DVD for the last couple of years without any problems and with excellent results.
Like many software programmes it gives you a list of options that may initially have you scratching your head depending on your familiarity with video conversion but otherwise it’s relatively intuitive and straight forward.0 -
