But it's irrelevant to your housing situation.

You and your gf needs to sit down and work out what you are going to do.

I have been trying but everywhere leads to a dead end.

I have just checked following your previous and you are right. I did not have no DSS ticked.

Please ignore this original post as I was completely wrong.

If you filter down "housing benefit considered" (even though I get UC not housing benefit) it shows one result for mon-fri let. Also every one I looked at said "NO DSS" and you need a guarantor.

But your gf works? Sorry I’m confused now- most non dds means not solely reliant on benefits

OK calm down people are only trying to help you. Does your girlfriend have a mental illness? If she doesn't it might not be helpful to mention her to the local authority because it gives them an excuse to not help you if they think that you could move in with someone else.

Where is the alcholic lady now? Is she still in the house? To be honest I don't know how you have coped so well with this situation it is bad enough having a mental illness like yours without having to deal with stressful situations like this as well.

OK this was the best that I could find at the moment but you live there so you might do better.

the short answer is you need to move. So concentrate on that

Can the OP actually move though? What is the notice period on the flat / when does the tenancy agreement expire?

That is currently unclear, but likely a periodic tenancy

Your original posts says your girlfriend doesnt live with you and then goes on to say her parents want her to leave (which implies she lives with you)

If your gf works then no reason why she cannot look to rent and top up with partial UC for housing (your bit)

You seem to be putting a lot of barriers up. Why don't you consider just out of the area. If you arent working and have no tie there you could broaden your search criteria.
