Bottled beers and Alcopops

Some places now are charging £3.20 per bottle and I think its a total rip off. My tip is when you go out to a pub or club always buy draught as you get better value.
The worrying thing is that women only seem to drink bottles now so it makes getting them drinks much more expensive :o
Also i've noticed in clubs that they soon run out of pint glasses so that they can only serve bottles, what a con!

they buy bottled drinks as there's less chance of getting spiked and raped. also you don't spill as much when you bounce off 20 people on the way back from the bar0

actually, glasses are SAFER than bottles, as it is easier to see if a pill or powder has been added, as you will see it dissolving...0

when youre out in a club a bottle is best, you put your thumb over the top to stop it being spikede, plus you dont risk spilling and can take it everywhere, even when dancing0

Do people really do this in clubs?
In the New Penny and Baileys in Watford*, you had to buy bottled, the draught really was rank.

In most places I have been in, they give these little bottle stoppers that go in the top of bottles, which just have room for a straw in, really good little things! Think they are called spikey's or something like that..Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!0 -

Funny thing is that most young women dont each lunch during the day, have nothing to eat when they get in from work, have a few glasses before they go out, have several more glasses with their mates  , go out in the fresh air, woops it then all goes wrong, they end up in a mess on the floor, they then call the white taxi with blue lights and claim they have had their drinks spiked, when if fact they are just pi****d, and their mates keep saying they have only had 2 drinks some one has spiked her drink, :rotfl: they seem to forget that no food during the day and the several drinks they had before they went out, that their mates did not know about
is the real reason you are on the floor in a mess:A

I worked in a bar/nightclub in 2002/03 and they were paying 50p per bottle at the wholesalers for beers and alcopops.
It is about profit. Should be no surprise there!
Have one or two drinks then drink tap water the rest of the night, or cordial.
Much more fun not to get completely bladdered no matter whether its cheap or expensive.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
