Euro Car Parks Parking Fine

Hi,

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times on here before, but I couldn't find any recent answers in the last year or so relating to Euro Car Parks.
I received a parking ticket for overstaying in a retail park car park by 17 mins. The parking ticket was issued by Euro Car Parks. I've read on a lot of forums saying to ignore parking tickets issued by private parking companies. Has anyone had any personal experiences ignoring tickets from Euro Car Parks or have they ever been known to take anyone to court?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

IGNORE has not been advised since october 2012, so only a fool would do so and anyone advising that on any forums is also a fool too, where is this stupid advice you read ? please provide links so we can rubbish these false claims

please read and follow the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, and appeal it with the blue text template , as KEEPER

no blabbing about who was driving, to anyone

and its an INVOICE , not a "fine" , no private company can "fine" you , but they can and do send invoices like this NTK you received, so dont be fooled by the word "fine" or bad advice

download and read the BPA CoP , clause #13 , on GRACE PERIODS

APPEAL first, then take it to POPLA

a lot of these companies are taking these to court, so dont be one of them

Yes, I've ignored more than one in the past, before POPLA existed.

One of the most tame PPCs. A good one for you to practise on.
have they ever been known to take anyone to court?
No, except a few years ago when they tried ONE really badly pleaded case that we know of, against someone for several PCNs, and ECP mucked it up. They have not been head of to sue anyone since.

Please could you firstly read the NEWBIES thread? It's at the top of this forum to stop threads like this, as - with the best will in the World, honestly - we can't handle 'what do I do; I can't find any cases like mine?' posts at all, due to how busy this forum is already.

We can help later if you can't get it cancelled with the first step = retailer/retail park complaint.

Also if you put 'Euro' (obviously NOT the words 'car parks' given the subject matter of this forum!) into 'search this forum you will find we have threads about this tedious firm practically every day and there is no need for help with ECP appeals as they are done exactly as described in the NEWBIES thread.

We'd like to hear how you got on with your retail park complaint, though, first? As anyone would, and as the sticky thread tells you is the first step.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
