Best fast flow shower waste

I recently installed a mixer shower and now the shower waste can't cope with the volume of water. If I take out the trap cups then the flow is fine, so I'd like to change the waste for a faster flowing one as I'm getting gurgling noises without the trap in place.
I've found one which claims to be 54 litres per minute. Is that about the highest flow I'm going to get?

You won't have anything like 54 l/min coming out of your showerI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

We used this for our power shower and copes really well with the flow rate.

You need to check that there aren't blockages further along the pipework and that there is a sufficient fall in the pipework itself. If you have problems with these two, then changing your waste will be ineffective.
What diameter is your waste? If you have an old style one, it is a smaller diameter than the modern 90mm ones.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
90mm shower waste  most are 40mm or 50mmYou need to check that there aren't blockages further along the pipework and that there is a sufficient fall in the pipework itself. If you have problems with these two, then changing your waste will be ineffective.

90mm is standard waste size for showers now.0

Thanks for the advice all. I managed to alter the existing cup to help with the flow. There’s not much of a water seal but it seems to have stopped the gurgling.0

It’s the cutout in the shower tray that is 90mm.0
