Hi all. Ive got myself a little confused over how much money i will get back if any on my rent. So i moved into a property on 12/08 i paid 1 month rent (675) and 1 month rent in advance (675) Then i had to change the date the rent came out of my bank as i changed jobs so was now getting paid at the end of the month so thats when i started paying the rent . Can anyone work out what im entited to back and do i have to pay rent at the end of this month as im moving out. Thank you all.

Your deposit is unaffected. You will get it all back (£675) unless you have damaged the property, not cleaned it as well as when you moved in, or owe rent.
Did the tenancy start on 12/8/18? (just because you 'moved in' that day does not mean the tenancy started that day). I'll assume it did though.
What does 'end of the month 'mean? You now pay rent on last day of the mont instead of 12th of the month? Or the 1st of the next month?
When you changed payment date
a) did the landlord agree?
b) did you make an extra payment to cover 12th of month to last day of month? How much?
c) or did you make your first 'end of the month' payment early ie 12 days before the 12th?
Next question: what date are you ending the tenancy (not the same as 'moving out!). You have already passed the fixed term date (if it was 6 months) so probably now have a periodic tenancy. Have you served (proper) notice? To end on what date? Has the landlord agreed?
But assuming a) yes and b) no and c) no above, AND assuming the tenancy will end on 11th April (1 tenancy period notice from 12 March to 11 April):
then you now owe the extra days you missed when you changed payment date (12 till end of month) which this month is 31 days.
£675 per month / 31 days = £21.77 per day x 19 days (31-12) = £413.
So you owe 675 for this month and £413 for the missing days when you paid late = £1088 up to 11th April.
Re ending the tenancy, see
