As I've been sat on hold for 5 minutes, I thought I would just express how I am unsurprised at their high call volumes.
I had a large parcel which I expected to be delivered Thursday 14th.
Was away over the weekend before: due back Tuesday night.
Friday 8th, I got a text message telling me DPD driver will deliver today between 08:56-09:56.
This came in at 08:37 - I immediately clicked the link to reply with "no, deliver on Thursday" (when I knew I would be in).
On Monday, I get the same thing. I immediately click the link to their web sites to reply again to say "no, please deliver on Thursday".
Get home Tuesday night to find two "could not deliver" cards.
Thursday, I am in all day. Nothing arrives.
Go online today....to see it is lined up to "return to origin". WHAAAAT?
Eventually manage to speak to someone, who calls the depot (which is only a mile from my house). They THINK it will still be in the cage.
So I drove down Friday afternoon and did DPDs job for them.
What kind of parcel company has such a rubbish system?
Yodel used to be up there on my list of "don't use", but DPD are edging them with this fiasco!
Thanks for listening ;-)
