Has anyone always been sensible with their money,savings,investing,pensions etc? Or is it something that has developed over time?

Regarding the poor childhood leads to spender/saver debate I don't think you should generalize, my wife and I had very similar upbringing but when we met, we were at totally different ends of the savings spectrum.15 years later we have both changed to the point where she sometimes is more saving oriented than me
