Santander and other shares

I have 300 santander shares I wish to sell. The information when I google it is very confusing as I have never sold shares before so wonder if anyone can give any tips please on the cheapest way to sell them. I still have paper copies of the share certificate but get lots through from equitini(sp) so not sure if I have to sell through them or not.
Also have some standard life shares and centrica. What is the cheapest and best way to sell these please. TIA
