Bluetooth Query/Issue

Hello Folks,
This has got me stumped. I'm trying to bluetooth 34 images from my phone Samsung Galaxy J3 to my laptop Dell Insprion 17 5000 series. First I tried selecting all 34 and do a bulk transfer (I do this same task at work almost daily but with dozens of images at a time using an identical phone and the only difference is that a Samsung Tablet is the receiver as it happens I have the works tablet at home this weekend and the bulk batch process works as normal) anyway the task failed.
I followed the instructions here https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4026874 in an attempt to solve the issue. I can send up to 3 images but no more.
Surely the total file size can't be a issue as the phone only sends one file at a time in a queue style?
Am I missing something or can the laptop just not cope with more than 3 queing items?

bluetooth not the easiest way to transfer photos to laptop imo. if google photos synced on phone/tablet just goto photos.google.com on laptop and photos will be there to download if required or just plug phone into laptop and copy across

I've always found trying to BT pic's to be a total pain and haven't even tried for years. There are far simpler way. Email, cloud or just plug the phone into the pc with the supplied cable.

Unless you're using the free storage option but want the photos on your PC at native resolution.

Install Dropbox on the Phone and PC, much easier to control than Google.

A USB cable would be much simpler and quicker than either.

i use google photos/dropbox to download the odd photo i need on laptop/pc but plug phone in to pc once a month to transfer photos to nas drive. it's the easiest way that i have found. as above haven't used bluetooth for at least 10 years

Yep. I'd vote for that method. Use google photos to put them into the cloud. I would add that you can get the google photo app on your laptop to bring them back down from the cloud automatically. All completely seamless, you'll always have all your pics on your laptop - you can set it to keep them even if you delete them from your phone or the cloud.

i knew that with the google app on laptop/pc it automatically uploaded any new photos to their servers but didn't think it auto downloaded any new photos from phones/tablets to laptop/pc???
