Bw discontinued claim

I spent all last weekend getting together a witness statement for my son's BW legal case for NCP.

They offered a reduced rate to pay of £100 a few days before the witness statement was due in, they also paid the court fee which had been left to the last day to pay it. The witness statement was sent in 30 mins before the dead line on Monday this week.
No witness statement was received from BW and today he has got a letter saying they are discontinuing the case.

This is my post,

Thanks to every one that helped out with all the advice for the defence

Send them a free LBC for your cost t £19 an hour.. Judges view this sort of behaviour as unreasonable and a waste of court time.

    and coplain to your MP.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

The problem become so widespread that MPs agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has cleared Parliament and hopefully, this will become law shortly.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Good news :j

I still think that BWLegal are out of their depth with the great parking scam. They might be good collecting gas bills and old loans with their robo claims. Issuing claims only to discontinue clearly shows a lack of understanding in the first place

Go back to your core business BWLegal before search engines become overloaded because of your stupid robo claims

Very glad to hear about your win!

But Limara - could you update your actual thread with the outcome, as people finding that thread will not realise you won. There is never a need for a new thread here.

Another one bites the dust...! :T
