IAS Appeal Won - VCS Cancel Ticket

Hi all - thanks for all your help on this matter, I appreciate you say dont appeal to IAS, but my personal view was better to appeal and fail, as if it goes to court there is more evidence of the kangaroo court and unfair practice.

But, VCS have now cancelled the ticket, the 4 main points they couldnt argue with are below, obviously they have not given any details the IAS just wrote

Operator Conceded
The Operator conceded this appeal due to Incorrectly Issued.

1. NTK issued to late for Keeper Liability, no driver identified
2. Ticket issued for parking on blocked paving / access road, however their own photos even showed the vehicle was NOT parked on blocked paving, and the person who issued the ticket had stated "parked on path"
3. They issued a map showing an incorrect location of the vehicle, showing it close to 3 signs. However, where the vehicle was actually parked it had NOT passed any signs on the route in
4. The sign they showed in their own photos proved it was too far away to see and read from the position of the vehicle.

Original Thread is here, new post started for ease for others to see. Thanks again to all the people who gave advice and information, without this the argument I put would not have been as strong

Excellent result, against all the odds. VCS are one major monkey off your back.

Not wishing whatsoever to p1ss on your chips (I guess you know there's a 'but' coming), but the IAS did not actually find in your favour (which would have been ultimately satisfying), rather they persuaded VCS to withdraw, either because there was something lacking in their case, or it was VCS's turn to 'take one for the team'. Who knows, we'll never know.

But you're free of the crap, so have a glass or two and enjoy your weekend. Well done.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
