I have had an almost identical experience with my 85 year old father. This company needs to be investigated.

I've come to this because I have had the same experience with my 91 year old Dad who had £150 taken out of his bank on 30 Sept by debit card. Seems to be the same tactic only this time the company is called UK Appliance. His bank put me onto UK Appliances but they say it is not them but a different company. Reported it to Trading Standards and TPS and told my Dad (again) never to give out card details but just to tell them to call me. Despicable crime.
