unfair parking ticket

I have received a parking charge from UKPC; I run a recovery business and i was at Pizza Hut car park loading a client broken car. I was in and out within 12 minutes as it is showing the letter I received; they are charging me £60 and I do not even make that on the recovery.
Any help with this will be appreciated

Complain to Pizza Hut - either the manager locally or Head Office.

Extremely unfair on you, business as usual for the parking scammers. A mechanic friend of mine received scammers invoice for exactly the same type of incident, sent email with PROOF (customer invoice) and got it cancelled.


This was Athena though (one of the tamer scammers) I don't know how you would fair against UKPC (one of the nastier scammers) but worth a try UNLESS the more experienced regulars tell you to do something different.


All the scammers can be beaten but it takes effort and knowledge and if your an 'on call' person like I was many years ago meaning I know how valuable your time is, it will unfortunately take some of that time, ultimately its your choice.

So is there a picture of your recovery van driving in and out, and the second picture shows the broken down car loaded on the back?

Ask the client of they also got a PCN, showing the same image. Bet they did.

By now we'd hope you've read the NEWBIES thread and have learned how to appeal it if the landowner won't cancel the scam.
