Santander mortgage application bank statements

Hello, our Santander mortgage application is going through via our broker. It’s a 95% mortgage so I’m nervous about any issues at all! Our bank statements/payslips etc have all gone over and have been marked received the next day. Two days later they have all been marked ‘accepted’ bar requesting further details of my partners bonus which says ‘not accepted’. Can I assume that everything else is ok re our statements if it says accepted? The reason I ask is I’m worried sick about a an upaid DD on my statement. (Was an incorrect mandate when I swapped banks for my car loan). Does accepted mean checked and underwritten and all ok? Or simply we have accepted receipt of these documents? Anyone know?
Thanks
Thanks

We submitted our documents to Santander yesterday (Only asked for our Feb payslip) we sent yesterday evening.
Today we got a message saying accepted and should hear from an advisor soon to set up the mortgage appointment, this got sent to me a few hours later.
So far have been very impressed at the speed and the text/email alerts along the way!
Fingers crossed it goes well for you also.0 -
I submitted mine through Santander last month and it took sometime they came back asking for details of my commision, I sent what they asked, it said accepted and then came the next question the following day and this continued for a week and after 10 days I had the approval but some do take time and it is stressful I hardly slept.. stupid I know. Good luck0

An unpaid DD isn't anything to worry about if it was later resolved.0

So basically accepted doesn’t mean approved? It just means thanks we’ve got that and now we’re going to ask questions? I’ve been really impressed at the speed so far but sounds like I have a way to go yet! Fingers crossed for us all!0

That's correct it means they are happy that they are your bank statements and that they are for the time period they need. When they have all the info it goes to the underwriters and it will say submitted to underwriters and they will either come back and ask more questions or approve. But don't worry if they ask lots of questions they often do.0
