Minster Baywatch Parking Ticket

Hi
I received a parking notice stating I have to pay a fine for parking on New Years Eve.
I had been in the Public House and left my registration number over the bar which is what was requested on the night.
However they are insisting I pay the fine. I wrote an email to them contesting it and it seems I sent it to the wrong email address and I have only just seen that response telling me so. It's dated 16th January.
It has now passed 28 days and been passed to the solicitors.
Am I still able to contest against this ticket or do I now have to pay?
Any advice would be truly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Go to the NEWBIES thread and you will learn more of the scam in which you are now involved.
The first advice will be to complain to the pub that a genuine customer has been penalised due to the failure of their registration system.
Don’t let them fob you off - they can usually cancel.
If they won’t help let them know that you and your friends will not be coming back and trash the place on social media.
In the meantime you can only sit on your hands and wait for court papers to arrive .0 -

There is NO FINE.I had been in the Public House and left my registration number over the bar which is what was requested on the night.
As the NEWBIES thread tells you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
