UK Savings Question when living abroad.

Hello,

I am a UK citizen, but for the last 3 years have lived in Canada. I am self-employed, and the majority of my income is still paid in sterling into my UK account. I know I am no longer allowed to contribute to my UK cash ISA being a resident overseas, but just wondering if I still have any savings options for my UK money. Every UK savings account I've come across requires me to be a UK resident to open them. I do still have a UK address and file a UK tax return in addition to a Canadian one. It just seems a bit ridiculous to transfer my GBP savings over to Canada as I would lose any potential interest in the transfer fees.

Any help much appreciated!

Thank you
