Hi

Wealthify are pretty average and not the cheapest but they are offering a free £25 if a parent opens and invests £50 in a S&S Junior ISA using the below link.

The money needs to be invested for at least 12 months after which you are free to transfer it to another Junior ISA provider. Of course with Junior ISAs the money can only be withdrawn by the child after they turn 18 and if the child already has a CTF or S&S Junior ISA it would need transfering in.

As always read the T&C's carefully to ensure you qualify for the offer. It looks like you need to open the plan by 22nd March 2019 and fund with 10 days. You also get entered into a prize draw for a £500 holiday voucher for which you might have good odds if this offer isn't very popular.

I'm a bit worried of their funds of choice. They recently on 6 March moved 10% of my investment with them from Fidelity Index Emerging Markets to Mercer Emerging Markets.

The Fidelity fund is well established and has pretty good liquidity. But the Mercer fund is very new and the purchasing has took more than 9 days (7 working days) and not completed yet.

I would not continue invest with them after I receive the Aviva bonus from them.

For people who wants to claim the (admittedly lucrative 50%) bonuses, I'd suggest create a reminder on your calendar to move your funds to somewhere else next year.

Yes I closed my account with them too but I figured it might be worth posting incase anyone was looking to make a small investment for their child.
