I understand that I cannot pay off one credit card with another, but can I pay off my credit card with Paypall to get both avios on one card still qualify for cashback on another? I would be paying off the card in full each month.

Which credit card accepts Paypal?0

No you cannot payoff a credit card with PayPal unless you transfer the money to your bank first then pay your credit card.
What you’re attempting will not work (aside from the fact it’s not possible)0 -
Sadly, reward points aren't free. Somebody has to pay for them.
For example, when you buy goods from a shop, the shop has to pay a fee, and the points come from that fee.
So it's unlikely that you'll find a way of shuffling money between cards, and earning reward points, unless you pay a fee at some point.
And the fee is likely to be more than the points are worth.0 -

I've been doing it for a few years, so it is possible. There are ways to do so without incurring any fees but admittedly a fair few ways took a hit when the interchange fee cap came in and took a load of rewards cards off the market.0 -
Thanks Urbanite,
Are there specific cards that this works with?
I do not have my paypall account attached to my bank account, but to a credit card, so all purchasers put through paypall currently show on my credit card statement and I collect Avios for them. Due to changes with Saga and Lloyds regarding two of my current credit cards, which will soon cease to be available, I am having to reassess which cards I use and how I deal with them and possibly aply for another card. I am used to having a fee free travel credit card and a UK purching card which accrues avios using bot AMEX and Access.
Do you have any recommendations for suitable replacements?
Many thanks,0 -

I'm waiting for Diners Club to rear its head in this thread.
Haha funnily enough I've got a Citibank Diners Club card in my wallet...I can use it at hotels, petrol stations, supermarkets...and that's about it.
Useful for the occasions where a retailer says that Amex is the only card they don't accept and needs proving wrong0
