Amazon gift card value

Hello,
I havent been on here for a couple or so years so I'm a bit rusty at what's what, who how etc... Apologies in advance...
I've come on here to ask about looking up the value of Amazon gift cards...
I bought several of these recently for family members.
Unfortunately I didn't write the values on a couple of them and can't remember how much I paid, plus the receipts are no longer with the gift cards!
On the card it says £15.00 - £250.00 which isn't much help and at the time, I wanted to gift different amounts to different people.
I've been to Amazon website and can't make head nor tail of it! :-/
I found something but I'm not sure if it will allocate the vouchers to my own account which of course I don't want to do - only to see the value so I can put the correct gift card in the right envelope to the right recipient.
Please can anyone help?....short of going to the supermarket I bought them in which is not local to me. I was hoping I could look up the individual values online.
Sorry for being so longwinded!
Sue

Always selotape the receipt to the gift card when you buy them. Sometimes there is a "till error" and no money is put on the card.

thanks for the replies - I wish I had sellotaped the receipts to the cards :-/
I've tried to contact Amazon but they seem to direct all enquiries to the Amazon Assistant with 'subjects' none of which apply to my query :-?
I can find help to 'redeem' the gift card, or to 'apply it to my account' but not how to sort out the actual values......
I guess I'm going to have to carry on searching for where I've put the receipts...hey ho, should've thought that through at the time :-/
    Thanks though,
    Sue

Can you buy new gift cards at face value from Amazon? If you can, just add them to your own account and then purchase new ones out of the credit balance. If they just send out a code via email, you can either write that on the (now dead) cards you have in your possession, or on a bit of paper and glue that to the card(s) instead.

Not the most elegant solution but could be a way out.

Pretty sure gift card balance cannot be used to buy gift cards (well amazon ones), so not going to be an option.

    Have you tried phoning them?

Or there is a call me now button where once you've put your issue in they phone straight back. Think you need to be logged into your account for that one, if you have one.
