I've got a vax v006 turboforce from freecycle but it needs a new filter, which I've bought. But I don't have instructions on how to fit it, the online manual basically tells me to shove the filter in, but the filter back came with 3 little round discs....and nothing tells me what to do with them.
I don't want to break the machine by getting it wrong...what do i do with them?
Please help I need to hoover!

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Can you not contact Vax themselves, they are a very helpful company?
Have a look on their site to see if there is info about your question & if not then give them a call. http://www.vax.co.uk/support/index.phpThe bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

Best thing to do is to give Vax a ring, as cattie says they are very helpful and I am sure if you explain that you got your machine from freecycle and that it didn't come with any instructions, they may just send you a copy of the relevant machine.
I do find it strange that you claim to have contacted them already without the response you wanted. I have always found them to be extremely helpful.0
