I haven't received my payment yet for 3 items

:hello: everyone

I had 3 items end on 2nd and 3rd of November but no sign of any payments yet. I haven't even had any communication from the buyers. 3 days ago I sent emails to politely ask had they sent their payments yet but still no word. :(

They are not expensive items - average price £3.50 but I'm getting a bit fed up now.

This is the first time I've encountered this..

Any advice would be very welcome.

Many Thanks

  • That's over a week so you can open an unpaid item dispute against them, might scare them into paying.

I agree, open NPBs on them now. To do this just go to your sold page and there will be a drop down box by each of the items. In there choose 'report an unpaid item' and follow the instructions.

  • i doubt they will neg you, recently i have had a spate of npb's,as soon as i reach past the 7 days i open a dispute,i think i have had 4 this week none paid so far but 2 last week did.
im guessing they have low feedback?

  • I opened the NPBs on the buyers and have had apologies and promises of prompy payment now from them. i didnt get an apology from one buyer and he said he posted the payment on 12/11/07, I haven't yet received it!

I hope he is not going to be trouble....

The strange thing is they all have good feedback, high 100+ and no negs except 1 has 1 a long time ago.

  • I sold 2 phones and a laptop a couple of weeks ago, and 2 out of the 3 didnt bother paying. This seems to be becoming the norm rather than the odd occurance on ebay these days.

I opened disputes, one of them apologised and said his paypal had been hacked (he seemed genuine), the other one claimed he was away on holiday for 12 weeks and so couldnt pay! He then left me a retaliatory negative! The cheek of it!

Be patient -- post *is* slow at the moment still. If hey sent payment by Royal Mail Fisrt Class it can still take ten days in our experience.

Bear in mind that Paypal and eBay aren't linking properly at the moment so some paypal payments that *are* made aren't appearing in eBay as paid.

Keep the unpaid item dispute open (you need to give it 7 more days in any case) and then take a view. If you believe they wil pay, then you can leave it open a little longer. If not - you can close and risk the neg (and give one back if you like).

If they haven't responded to the unpaid item dispute then you can leave neg iwthout them being able to leave one back,
  • I think it's rude not to pay straight away for items I've bid on & won. If you don't think you can pay on time don't bid.

How were they paying? Mind you, when I've bought and paid by cheque I've always emailed the sellers to say, e.g., 'cheque posted 1st class on xxx if not received by xxx please email me & let me know'. Not that hard to do really.
