Hi. I have just moved address so i thought i would change my v5c. But when i looked i did not send it off when i brought my car in november 2017. Its been signed by the previous owner but i did not sign it and send it off. What should i do? Will i get in trouble if i senf it off now? Thanks

    No, but you probably will if you don’t.

    Why the 2 threads?

    Just fill in the correct form and get it sent off - how are you going to pay your VED without a V5c or reminder?

    You wont get fined. It's the sellers responsibility to send off the v5c. You should have only been given the green tear off slip.

    I would assume the VED was bought using the green slip from the original V5c reference number....is it still taxed now?

    Do you have the entire V5c still in the previous owners name or just the green slip?
