Indigo/zzps

Apologies I'm a newb.

I just wanted to double check I'm right having read through the forums.

I received a railway parking fine from indigo in November last year. I've gone through all the appeals process but never revealed who the driver is.

Today I got my first letter from zzps. Am I right in thinking I am safe to just totally ignore this and the future correspondence I will get as there is nothing they can do and 6 months from the original offence date it will all no longer be valid anyway.

Thanks

Is it definitely 6 months from the original offence date or six months from the final notice?

Am I right in thinking if I still receive letters after 6 months I can write them complaining that their breaching the law and I can write to have my details removed me information commissioner
  • 6 mths from date of incident , any appeals are now handled by ITAL , but you bay have been at the point where there was no appeal

yes if it goes beyond 6 mths , you kick off , I believe the BPA are not happy with indigo at present

There is nothing to stop them sending scary letters after 6 months unless you tell them not to. If you tell them not to and to delete your data then they must do that.

They have carried out the instructions to leave people alone so far when told to.

As above, but also tell them to delete all your personal data.

Before then you should complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.
