I have about £1800 left on a credit card with Halifax and i've just started paying interest, and currently pay around £100 a month back, what balance transfer looks best for me?

Have a look on the MSE eligibility tool and see which ones are offered.
In answer to your question Virgin or Barclaycard would probably fit your purpose subject to acceptance and you being given a big enough limit of course (£1800 is not a big amount from a card limit POV so your in with a good chance)0 -
Whichever one you're eligible for that offers enough of a credit limit, the longest promo period and the lowest fees!
