ok , enterprise hire car m where did you collect car from , dealer or did you go and collect it from enterprise office ?

yes, you're completely right - i agree with you on all fronts.

And re the posters above, i understand what you're saying now - i should have got it inspected! The whole thing has been a total catalogue of errors. The only 'proof' i have of the damage happening post drop off is the Enterprise report's assertion that it was 'fresh' paint, nothing more than that.

Will just have to explore the goodwill route, my contract to purchase is up in Oct i think, so have some leverage there.

i had to collect it from Enterprise office as i was timebound, BMW said my car was ready at the time but turned out it wasn't - i had to pick up my child in *a* car...
