We recently received a parking ticket for parking on our own drive, and have gone through appealing it and have gotten nowhere, with the local council, they have now sent it on to a bailiffs! Where do I stand? I'm parked on my one drive for 7-8minutes to take shopping in then went out again! They now want me to pay £500! Help me

You got a ticket for parking on your own drive? Is there more to this story?0

Of course there is but just like a lot of newbies they’ve left out all the important information for an over emotional rant. :T0 -
we were parked on our drive next to other vehicle and the wheels were on the pavement. There was other car space width from our car to the end of the pavement. so more than enough room for people, buggys and mobility scooters to get passed. We have large lorrys and delivery trucks park on our private drive daily. Who don't get tickets0

As this is a council ticket you need to post here http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30
Give them all the information leaving out the ranty bits. Read the faq's first.0 -

Do they block the pavement too? I guess this is a regular issue and people have complained?
Why did your appeal fail?0 -

So you were not fined for parking on your drive - you were fined for parking on the pavement. As already asked, where did your appeal fail? The involvement of Bailiffs suggests that you have ignored repeated requests for payment since losing the appeal.0 -
