Check their requirements: while there is no government requirement, airlines make their own rules.0 -

I’m not up to speed on Bretit (I know right!)
But if Ireland becomes an eu state - will that affect things?

I don't think that's "confusion"... they claim the entire island, after all... I think that would be more accurately characterised "intent".0 -

Not any more. Articles 2 and 3 are gone a long time. They had a referendum on it the same time as us.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

The coins are the official name of the country in the native language and similar to the pre euro design with it being a republic (not a monarchy). I think I have some saorstat eireann coins and stamps about.
The stamps cover all of the island of Ireland so buying a stamp in dublin to post to letterkenny or belfast is the same.
IIRC the UK is the only country not to put its name on stamps?0 -

The same applies to stamps from any other state. I’ve just got a letter from Germany this morning. Those Deutschebundespost stamps seem to have been enough to get them from point of entry to my door.
You can’t post from here across the border with An Post stamps.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0
