There's plenty of property out there that I would like to move to in order to escape the three estates built by speculating scum in the village I live especially the one built on the edge of my back garden thereby destroying a view across fields where Deer and Pheasants used to roam. However, like most women my wife would rather stay in the village she was born in and watch her children and grandchildren grow up.0

Talk about wanting your cake and eating it! You’re raging about the price of property but god forbid people build new homes to meet the demand.
I’m almost incensed that after all you’ve posted in this thread you can switch to moaning about new builds ruining your views. Where the deer and pheasants used to roam indeed!0 -
You stated, "Talk about wanting your cake and eating it! You’re raging about the price of property but god forbid people build new homes to meet the demand."
Please prove to me that such a demand does actually exist and for whom.0 -
Having a deposit doesn't mean anything. My husband has £100,000 deposit but cant get a mortgage because of his age.
There could be many reasons, not earning enough, bad credit, missed payments, asking for too much.0 -
Another Troll like statement coming up. "Presumably the son of your friend for one..."
Your reply is illogical because by the very fact that the lad is unable to obtain a mortgage the demand is negative.0 -
Does BML = Barking Mad Lunatic
So someone you know can't get a mortgage therefore negative demand for housing?0 -
We wanted a new home... we're young professionals who don't want or have the time to spend renovating. Yes we pay extra for the privilege but that's our choiceJuly Total - £9,120.950
