I have an Instagram account in my real name that I access via my Android phone and iPad.

Is it possible to set up another totally separate Instagram account for use on the same above devices with out it linking the 2?

I believe you can only sign into one account at a time on the apps so technically yes but not at the same time.

You should be able to have upto 5 instagram accounts on a phone app. I use one for work and the other for private.


Got to setting, then right at the bottom, ADD ACCOUNT

you can have multiple accounts on the same device - when on the app go to your profile page and click on your name at the top it will then pop up with your account name and the option to add account - you can then set up a new one.

once that one is set up you can either click on the name of the account at the top and it will show a list of the available accounts for you to choose from, or alternatively you can hold down on your DP at the bottom right of the page and that will also allow you to choose from a list of available accounts for you to go into.
This is for iphone users anyway, sorry if it is laid out differently on android but the theory should still be the same.
